Here at Kokeshi Designs we have always wanted to educate our customers on the Japanese customs and traditions that have influenced our dolls. We believe things are more meaningful when you know a little something about them. Unfortunately, we’ve been so busy running our business we just haven’t been able to find the time!

With that in mind, Kokeshi Designs is please to introduce our new blogger, Lisa Christensen. Lisa is a professional freelance writer and the mother of two little girls. Lisa brings with her not only her talent for word-smithing, but also her love for Japan, its people and culture. Having lived and traveled in Japan, Lisa is excited to bring her skills and experiences to Kokeshi Designs!
