Vintage Orange with Gold and Silver Pine Tree design Japanese Maru obi

This obi is gorgeous. The orange color is vibrant with the gold and silver thread making up the pine tree design. It's 156 inches (13 Ft) and 12.5 wide. This is a Maru obi which are usually made of heavy fabrics such as silk brocade, tapestry weave or multicolored weave. This one is a silk brocade. The ease of styling a Maru obi is that is is patterned on both sides with no blank portions. The Maru obi is considered the most elegant of obi and is worn over the formal kimono for ceremonial occasions. This obi is in excellent condition. One of a kind. Beautiful
